Here it’s a treat for Facebook users. Facebook has launched a new feature for all users to directly transfer the photos and videos from the Facebook app to Google Photos.
It is noticeable that last year the Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Twitter has signed a project which is called the Data Transfer Project, which helps to transfer data between their platforms. And this feature is a part of the above project.
To access this tool in the desktop login to your Facebook account and click the arrow mark on the top right corner open settings.and here you will get to see Your Facebook Information menu on the left side. Tap on that icon and here is Transfer a copy of your photos or videos option.
Now if you click on this option it will redirect you to Google Photos and you have to login by your Gmail ID and password. After your login you have to allow the permission to create media files in your Google Photos.
After selecting the destination Google photos confirm the transfer by clicking on Confirm Transfer button. In few minutes the photos and videos you have transferred will be copied to your Google photos.
You can also transfer your Facebook photos and videos to your Google photos from your Facebook account using your smartphone. The process involves 4 steps explained with the images given below.
Step 1. Just open the Facebook application from your smartphone and go to settings.
Step 2. Scroll down in Facebook settings and tap on the transfer a copy of your photos or videos option.
Step 3. Then choose the destination to Google photos after choosing Google photos option tap on the next button after that it will redirect in to two Google accounts login page where you have to enter your email id and password click login with your Gmail ID.
Step 4. After login with your Gmail ID the new you option will be displayed below and choose the options you like to copy for example photos or videos. After choosing photos or videos to transfer and click next.
After completing these 4 steps the photos or videos in the Facebook account will be copied within few minutes.
Another way to backup your facebook photos or videos is available in the Facebook that is the information called download your Facebook information.
Choose the options that you like to download to your offline storage where going to select photos and videos option to download.
After choosing photos and videos option scroll down and tap on create file. Within few days the photos and videos from your Facebook account that will be created in the new zip file. After few days you should visit the same tab and download that created file and you can easily download into your offline storage and you can extract that file. But the problem is these extracted files will be available in the HTML format you can just click on index.php file and browse your photos and videos in phones web browser or any laptop for computers web browser without internet.
To crack this method the photos and videos folders also available in the zip file you just find that particular folder inside of this zip file and move that folder to your SD card or internal storage.
